Art Lending of Ottawa
Art Lending of Ottawa gives you a chance to rent and buy art from local artists. Try out a painting for a few months with a rental, or straight out buy a piece you want. Renting allows you to revamp your decor every few months. ALO holds four in-person shows per year and has an online gallery you can browse through! Next in-person show is Saturday June 14 at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre.
KCAG Online Summer Shows
The Kanata Civic Art Gallery is closed for the summer for renovations. Summer shows will be taken online. Coming very soon, “Slice of Life” and “Wonder & Whimsey.” Be sure to check the KCAG website in June! The display cases by the Beaverbrook Library at the Mlacak Centre will also contain some new art.
Glebe Fine Art Show
This well loved show is back again for 2025! There will be 34 artists participating this year on September 14-15 at the Glebe Community Centre. Mato’s Cafe will be back in attendance as well. Save the dates!

Sometimes we find a spot that resonates in our hearts. We embrace it. It brings us comfort and makes us dance. At those times, we feel at one with our surroundings. Other times, we are divided by space - physical space, emotional space and intellectual space.
This series celebrates these spaces, whether they offer us wide open vistas to play in, or shelters to bring us protection and comfort.
Essence of Place ~
Galapagos Islands
Wind and ocean currents, unique land formations and endemic species all combine to create an amazing wonder of nature in the Galapagos Islands. There is a true sense of place here as we are surrounded by the zen of sea turtles, the frolicking of sea lions and the beautiful dances and dives of the colourful birds. To be privileged to see this biodiversity is to experience the wonder and awe of nature.
