Catch My Drift
It’s summer at the Kanata Civic Art Gallery and time to visit all the wonderful art in the “Catch My Drift” exhibition. I have a couple of pieces in this show.
The gallery is on summer hours: Tuesdays - Thursdays 1pm - 7pm and is located at 2500 Campeau Rd. Kanata.
Glebe Fine Art Show & Sale
This year is the 20th anniversary of the popular Glebe Fine Art Show & Sale. Lots of wonderful art by local artists, exhibited in a truly gorgeous setting.
The show runs Saturday September 12 - Sunday September 13 and the daily hours are 10am-4pm. The fabulous Café Mateo will also be open. Hope to see you there!

Where Stories Get Told
Building on the emotions of Poetry of Place, this series expands to consider those places Where Stories Get Told. Stories from past generations, those shared by current unseen beings and the ones that you feel in your spirit when you are open to the wind and smells that surround you. Everyone has stories to share and stories to hear and feel.
Poetry of Place
Sometimes we find a spot that resonates in our hearts. We embrace it. It brings us comfort and makes us dance. At those times, we feel at one with our surroundings. Other times, we are divided by space - physical space, emotional space and intellectual space.
This series celebrates these spaces, whether they offer us wide open vistas to play in, or shelters to bring us protection and comfort.
Essence of Place ~
Galapagos Islands
Wind and ocean currents, unique land formations and endemic species all combine to create an amazing wonder of nature in the Galapagos Islands. There is a true sense of place here as we are surrounded by the zen of sea turtles, the frolicking of sea lions and the beautiful dances and dives of the colourful birds. To be privileged to see this biodiversity is to experience the wonder and awe of nature.
